INTRODUCTION
Saint Michael's Episcopal Preschool is a nonprofit, private Christian school which offers a quality program that is developmentally appropriate, and enriched with early literacy, math, science, art and social development activites. Most importantly, the school promotes love and acceptance for all in a Christian atmosphere.

WELCOME TO THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR!
We are so excited to start this new school year. We have had a few changes this summer but as the saying goes “If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies. ~Author Unknown
Our butterflies are flying throughout the school; Ms. Alicia came back, the hallway and cubbies have been painted and we have many new friends. We can’t wait to see where the butterflies take us next. As usual we have a year chock full of events and activities so keep your yearly calendar handy.
We are committed to providing experiences that enrich and enhance your child’s cognitive, language, social, emotional,physical and creative development. Our
teachers serve as positive role models and provide care that is
supportive, nurturing, warm and responsive to each child’s individual
needs.
We believe that parents are the most important people in the life of their child. We want parents to feel welcome to share in the total school experience. We encourage you to visit often, attend chapels, special events, volunteer for field trips and help out on “work party” days. With the staff, parents and children working together, we set the foundation for the beginning of your child’s education.
INTRODUCING OUR NEW DIRECTOR
Congratulations to Ms. Amy! She has been a teacher at St. Michael’s Preschool for 14 years. Ms. Amy started out as an Afternoon teacher, and with determination and dedication Ms Amy has worked as a classroom teacher, a head teacher, and assistant director and now is the Director. We are very proud of Ms. Amy!

We have three classrooms and a caring staff. Parents love the low teacher to student ratio (small class size) which is optimum for learning and making new friends in school.

COMING EVENTS
On Thursday, September 15, 2011 we will have our first Grandparents Breakfast to celebrate the Wonderful Grandparents we have here at St. Michael’s. The cost will be $5.00 per adult and children are free. Sign-up on the Sign-up sheet to let us know how many are going to join us.

St Michael's Preschool offers a variety of options for childcare and preschool education for children from age two to first grade entry.
Please call the office to make an appointment with Amy Calkins, Preschool Director, to view the Preschool and learn about which program would be best for you and your child.
